be committed to their training with correct warm ups and cool downs
and prompt attendance for the start of each session. Each academy squad
session will incorporate speed, core strength, cardio and movement training.
Players who attend the Tennis Plus Modern Tennis Academy Squads are
also expected to represent the club(Glos. LTC/Taynton and Tibberton)
in all team competitions as and when required. Selection for Performance
Squads will be assessed on an ongoing basis. PERFORMANCE TENNIS It is recommended that performance players attend a minimum of 2 sessions a week this could be in the form of squad training, or also include a more personal training programme in the shape of individual lessons and academy lessons. Both individual and academy lessons are available with Ioan Evans (07870620488/ioanevans@talktalk.net) and Ben Griffiths (07594209138) please contact the coach direct to make arrangements. Performance players hours and level of commitment should increase as they progress in conjunction with the Long Term Player Development Guidelines.
